Data Sheet

PEach vial of HiTSeeker PAC1 cell line contains HEK293 cells stably expressing human Pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide type I receptor (ADCYAP1R1) with no tag. We offer this cell line as a “stable cell line” but we are now also offering vials of division-arrested cells (DA cells) in order to perform a small number of assays. Each vial of these DA cells contains 2.5 million cells, an enough number of cells to perform a complete experiment in a 96 well-plate or 384 well-plate.

Innoprot HiTSeeker PAC1 Cell Line has been designed to assay compounds or analyze their capability to modulate human Pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide type I receptor (PAC1). When a Pituitary Adenylate Cyclase-Activating Polypeptide (like PACAP-38) binds to the PAC1R a G protein is activated, which in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by second messengers (cAMP). This cell line has been validated measuring cAMP increase in the cytosol. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring PAC1 receptor activation process in High Throughput Screening.
