CCK2R (CCKBR) Human Cholecystokinin receptor assay from Innoprot provides the analysis of both signalling pathways involving GPCR activation; G protein by Calcium flux and β-arrestin recruitment using Nomad multiplex technology.
The cholecystokinin B receptor (CCKBR, CCK2R) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CCKBR gene. This gene encodes a G-protein-coupled receptor for gastrin and cholecystokinin, regulatory peptides of the brain and gastrointestinal tract. Therefore, It is found principally in the central nervous system and the gastrointestinal tract. This protein is a type B gastrin receptor, which has a high affinity for both sulfated and nonsulfated CCK analogs. The primary transduction mechanism is mediated by Gq/G11 family transducers, so its activation response is easily measured by Calcium flux.
