LPA3 Lysophospholipid Receptor Assay from Innoprot allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate LPAR3. When a ligand binds to the LPAR3, it activates a G protein, which in turn, triggers a cellular response comprising Calcium. Our LPAR3 assay measures Calcium concentration changes in the cytosol using LPA as positive control. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring LPAR3 activation/inhibition processes in High Throughput Screening.
Lysophosphatidic acid (LPA; 1- or 2-acyl-sn-glycerol-3-phosphate) is a phospholipid that plays roles in numerous normal physiological and pathological processes; such as brain development, blood vessel formation, embryo implantation, hair growth, neuropathic pain, lung fibrosis and colon cancer.
