TACR1 (NK1)

NK1 Tachykinin Receptor Assay (TACR1) from Innoprot allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate TACR1. When a ligand binds to the TACR1, it activates a G protein; which in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by calcium. The binding of an agonist to TACR1 induces mobilization of intracellular calcium and also activation of PKC via the PLC–IP3 and DAG pathways, respectively.

NK1 Tachykinin Receptor Assay comprises the measurement of calcium concentration in the cytosol. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring TACR1 receptor activation process in living cells.
