CRF2 Corticotropin-releasing factor receptor assay from Innoprot allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate CRF2. When a ligand binds to the CRF2, it activates a G protein, which in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by cAMP and calcium. CRHR2 assay comprises the measurment of both cAMP and calcium concentration changes in the cytosol upon incubation with test compounds. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring CRF2 receptor activation process in High Throughput Screening.
