MC3 Melanocortin Receptor Assay from Innoprot measures MC3R receptor activation using Nomad Biosensors technology. MC3 Melanocortin Receptor signaling occurs via adenylate cyclase stimulation through trimeric Gs proteins, increasing cAMP, and downstream L-type calcium channel interaction. In this assay, we measure the receptor activation/inhibition by cAMP accumulation using cAMP-Nomad Biosensor. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring MC3 Melanocortin Receptor activation process in High Throughput Screening.
