Innoprot HiTSeeker EP4 Prostanoid Receptor Cell Line allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate EP4 receptor. When a ligand binds to the EP2R, it activates a G protein, which in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by cAMP. HiTSeeker EP4 Receptor cell line has been validated measuring cAMP concentration changes in the cytosol upon activation with PGE2. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring EP4 Receptor activation process in High Throughput Screening.
