Each vial of HiTSeeker FP Prostanoid Receptor Cell Line contains U2OS cells stably expressing FP Receptor with no tag. HiTSeeker Cell lines proliferate in vitro maintaining GPCR expression following the cell culture manual.
Innoprot HiTSeeker FP Prostanoid Receptor Cell Line allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate FP receptor. When a ligand binds to the FPR, it activates a G protein, which in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by calcium. HiTSeeker FP Receptor cell line has been validated measuring calcium concentration changes in the cytosol upon activation with PGE2. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring FP Receptor activation process in High Throughput Screening.
