Each vial of HiTSeeker EP1 Prostanoid Receptor Cell Line contains U2OS cells stably expressing EP1 Receptor with no tag. HiTSeeker Cell lines proliferate in vitro maintaining GPCR expression following the cell culture manual.

Innoprot HiTSeeker EP1 Prostanoid Receptor Cell Line allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate EP1 receptor. When a ligand binds to the EP1R, it activates a G protein, which in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by calcium. HiTSeeker EP1 Receptor cell line has been validated measuring calcium concentration changes in the cytosol upon activation with PGE2. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring EP1 Receptor activation process in High Throughput Screening.
