The muscarinic acetylcholine receptor family consists of five GPCRs that mediate some of the neurotransmission functions of acetylcholine in the CNS and the periphery. Innoprot HiTSeeker Muscarinic Acetylcholine Receptor M3 Cell Line allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate CHRM3. When a ligand binds to the CHRM3, it activates a G protein, which in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by calcium. HiTSeeker CHRM3 cell line has been validated measuring calcium concentration changes in the cytosol upon activation with oxotremorine. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring CHRM3 receptor activation process in High Throughput Screening.<\/p>\n
