The tachykinin receptor NK3 (TACR3) also known as neurokinin 3 receptor (NK3R)\u00a0 is a GPCR. This gene encodes the receptor for the tachykinin neurokinin 3, also known to as neurokinin B; although it has some affinity for other tachykinins. The protein is the product of the TACR3 gene. A number of selective ligands are available for NK3. HiTSeeker Cell lines proliferate in vitro maintaining GPCR expression following the cell culture manual.<\/p>\n

Innoprot HiTSeeker NK3 Tachykinin Receptor Cell Line allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate NK3 receptor. When a ligand binds to the NK3R, it activates a G protein, which in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by calcium. HiTSeeker NK3 Receptor cell line has been validated measuring calcium concentration changes in the cytosol upon activation with Substance P. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring NK3 Receptor activation process in High Throughput Screening.<\/p>\n
