The tachykinin receptor NK3 (TACR3) also known as neurokinin 3 receptor (NK3R)\u00a0 is a GPCR. This gene encodes the receptor for the tachykinin neurokinin 3, also known to as neurokinin B; although it has some affinity for other tachykinins. The protein is the product of the TACR3 gene. A number of selective ligands are available for NK3. NK3 receptor antagonists are under development as treatments for various indications, such as treatment of\u00a0 sex-hormone related disorders or antipsychotic drug. These Cell lines proliferate in vitro maintaining fluorescent GPCR expression following the cell culture manual.<\/p>\n

Innoprot\u00a0Green Fluorescent NK3 Tachykinin Receptor Cell Line<\/strong> allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate NK3 Receptor activation and the following redistribution process inside the cells. When a ligand binds to the NK3 Receptor, it activates a G protein, which internalizes in big and high intensity vesicles. This cell line has been validated measuring Fluorescent NK3 Receptor redistribution by increase of fluorescence surrounding the nuclei using image analysis algorithms. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring NK3 Receptor redistribution process in High Throughput Screening.<\/p>\n
