When an agonist binds to EP1 Prostanoid Receptor both signalling pathways are activated which, in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by calcium and b-arrestin recruitment. This leads to an increase of fluorescence intensity of both b-arrestin and Ca<sup>2+<\/sup> biosensors.
