Green Fluorescent GPCR cell lines from Innoprot allows to perform GPCR internalization assays. Each vial of Green Fluorescent SST3 Somatostatin Receptor Cell Line contains U2OS cells stably expressing SST3R tagged with tGFP. These Cell lines proliferate in vitro maintaining fluorescent GPCR expression following the cell culture manual.

Innoprot Green Fluorescent SST3 Somatostatin Receptor Cell Line allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate SST3R activation and the following redistribution process inside the cells. When a ligand binds to the SST3 Receptor, it activates a G protein, which internalizes in big and high intensity vesicles. This cell line has been validated measuring Fluorescent SST3R redistribution by increase of fluorescence surrounding the nuclei using image analysis algorithms. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring SST3 Receptor redistribution process in High Throughput Screening.
