Ovarian Cell System

The ovary is an organ from the female reproductive system that produces ova. The ovaries secrete hormones that play a role in the menstrual cycle and fertility. The ovary progresses through many stages beginning in the prenatal period through menopause. It is also an endocrine gland because of the various hormones that it secretes. Atypical cell proliferation and regulation in the ovary cell system contributes to female reproductive disorders and cancer. We offer 3 types of normal human primary cells in the ovary such as endothelial cells, fibroblasts and epithelial cells.
