cAMPNOMAD Cells are cell lines stably co-expressing tag-free GPCRs and cAMP Nomad Biosensor to monitor G-protein modulation by cAMP release. Each vial of cAMPNOMAD FSHR Cell Line contains U2OS cells stably expressing the following constructs:

  • Human Follicle stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR) with no tag
  • cAMP Nomad Biosensor (Red Fluorescence)

cAMPNOMAD FSHR Cell Line allows for the assay of compounds analyzing the G-Protein signalling pathway via cAMP, following activation of the receptor. When an agonist binds to FSHR, a G protein is activated which, in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by cAMP. This leads to an increase in the red fluorescence intensity of cAMP biosensor. Thus, the activity can be easily quantified in living cells in a dose-response manner by fluorescence emission in a microplate reader.

The follicle-stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR) is a G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) involved in the regulation of reproductive processes. It binds follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), a glycoprotein hormone that activates Gs proteins. This leads to adenylate cyclase stimulation and increased intracellular cAMP levels. This signaling pathway is essential for ovarian follicle development and spermatogenesis. cAMPNomad FSHR Cell Line from Innoprot allows the measurement of the activity and potency of ligands; such as FSH.

Red Fluorescent cAMP Nomad Biosensor also expressed in the cell line, allows monitoring cAMP concentration changes when receptor is activated/inhibited.
