HiTSeeker ETB Endothelin Receptor Cell Line

HiTSeeker are cell lines stably expressing label-free GPCRs, also known as seven-(pass)-transmembrane domain receptors. Each vial ofHiTSeeker ETB Endothelin Receptor Cell Line contains U2OS cells stably expressing ETBR with no tag. HiTSeeker Cell lines proliferate in vitro maintaining GPCR expression following the cell culture manual.

Innoprot HiTSeeker ETB Endothelin Receptor Cell Line allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate ETBR. When a ligand binds to the ETBR, it activates a G protein, which in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by calcium. HiTSeeker ETB Receptor cell line has been validated measuring calcium concentration changes in the cytosol upon activation with Endothelin agonist. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring ETBR activation process in High Throughput Screening.

The endothelins and their receptors refers as the endothelin (ET) axis and this axis plays roles in diverse tumours. Endothelin receptor type B is a GPCR which activates a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. Its ligand, endothelin, consists of a family of three potent vasoactive peptides: ET1, ET2, and ET3. A splice variant, called SVR, exists and the sequence of the ETB-SVR receptor is identical to ETRB except for the intracellular C-terminal domain. While both splice variants bind ET1, they exhibit different responses upon binding which suggests that they may be functionally distinct. HiTSeeker ETB Endothelin Receptor Cell Line from Innoprot allows the measurement of the activity and potency of ligands; such as Endothelin.
