HiTSeeker NK3 Tachykinin Receptor Cell Line

HiTSeeker are cell lines stably expressing label-free GPCRs, also known as seven-(pass)-transmembrane domain receptors. Each vial of HiTSeeker NK3 Tachykinin Receptor Cell Line contains U2OS cells stably expressing NK3 Receptor with no tag. HiTSeeker Cell lines proliferate in vitro maintaining GPCR expression following the cell culture manual.

Innoprot HiTSeeker NK3 Tachykinin Receptor Cell Line allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate NK3 receptor. When a ligand binds to the NK3R, it activates a G protein, which in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by calcium. HiTSeeker NK3 Receptor cell line has been validated measuring calcium concentration changes in the cytosol upon activation with Substance P. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring NK3 Receptor activation process in High Throughput Screening.

The tachykinin receptor NK3 (TACR3) also known as neurokinin 3 receptor (NK3R)  is a GPCR. This gene encodes the receptor for the tachykinin neurokinin 3, also known to as neurokinin B; although it has some affinity for other tachykinins. The protein is the product of the TACR3 gene. A number of selective ligands are available for NK3.
