The skeletal muscle system plays a central role in movement, balance, and posture in mammals. Within this system, skeletal muscle cells, myoblasts, and satellite cells are essential for muscle growth, repair, and normal physiological function. Proper regulation of proliferation and differentiation in these cell populations is critical for maintaining skeletal muscle integrity.
