Green Fluorescent Jurkat Cell Line are suitable for both, in vitro and in vivo experimentation.
About Jurkat Cell line:
Jurkat cells are an immortalized line of human T lymphocyte cells that are useful to study acute T cell leukemia, T cell signaling, and the expression of various chemokine receptors susceptible to viral entry, particularly HIV. Jurkat cells have the ability to produce interleukin 2, and are used in research involving the susceptibility of cancers to drugs and radiation.
About turboGFP protein:
tGFP is an improved variant of the green fluorescent protein CopGFP from copepoda Pontellina plumata (Arthropoda; Crustacea; Maxillopoda; Copepoda). It possesses bright green fluorescence (excitation/ emission max = 482/ 502 nm) that is visible earlier than fluorescence of other green fluorescent proteins. TurboGFP is useful for applications where fast appearance of bright fluorescence is crucial. It is also useful for cell and organelle labeling and tracking the promoter activity.
