HiTSeeker alpha1A Adrenergic Receptor Cell Line

HiTSeeker are cell lines stably expressing label-free GPCRs, also known as seven-(pass)-transmembrane domain receptors. Each vial of HiTSeeker alpha1A Adrenergic Receptor Cell Line contains U2OS cells stably expressing ADRA1A with no tag. HiTSeeker Cell lines proliferate in vitro maintaining GPCR expression following the cell culture manual.

Innoprot HiTSeeker ADRA1A Cell Line allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate ADRA1A. When a ligand binds to the ADRA1A, it activates a G protein, which in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by calcium. HiTSeeker ADRA1A cell line has been validated measuring calcium concentration changes in the cytosol upon activation with epinephrine. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring ADRA1A receptor activation process in High Throughput Screening.

The alpha-1A adrenergic receptor (α1A adrenoreceptor), also known as ADRA1A, is member of Alpha-1-adrenergic receptors (alpha-1-ARs) family. They activate mitogenic responses and regulate growth and proliferation of many cells. The primary transduction mechanism is mediated by Gq/G11 family transducers; so its activation response is easily measured by calcium flux. HiTSeeker alpha1A Adrenergic Receptor Cell Line from Innoprot allows the measurement of the activity and potency of ligands, such as epinephrine.
