ETB Endothelin Receptor Assay

ETB Endothelin Receptor Assay

ETB Endothelin Receptor Assay from Innoprot allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate EDNRB. When a ligand binds to the EDNRB, it activates a G protein, which in turn, triggers a cellular response comprising both Calcium and cAMP. Our EDNRB assay measures both, cAMP & Calcium concentration changes in the cytosol using Endothelin I as positive control. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring EDNRB activation process in High Throughput Screening.

Endothelin receptor type B is a GPCR which activates a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. Its ligand, endothelin, consists of a family of three potent vasoactive peptides: ET1, ET2, and ET3.
