Green Fluorescent GPCR cell lines from Innoprot allows to perform GPCR internalization assays. Each vial of Green Fluorescent CXCR2 Chemokine Receptor Cell Line contains U2OS cells stably expressing CXCR2 tagged with tGFP. These Cell lines proliferate in vitro maintaining fluorescent GPCR expression following the cell culture manual.

Innoprot Green Fluorescent CXCR2 Chemokine Receptor Cell Line allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate CXCR2 activation and the following redistribution process inside the cells. When a ligand binds to the CXCR2 Receptor, it activates a G protein, which internalizes in big and high intensity vesicles. This cell line has been validated measuring Fluorescent CXCR2 redistribution by increase of fluorescence surrounding the nuclei using image analysis algorithms. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring CXCR2 Receptor redistribution process in High Throughput Screening.

CXCR2 guides immune cells, essential for inflammation and also in cancer responses. Functions involve directing cells and contributing to immune responses intricately. The receptor is a crucial player in immune system modulation, actively mediating effects of chemokines, such as IL-8, guiding immune cells to infection or inflammation sites. Expressed primarily on neutrophils, monocytes, and endothelial cells, CXCR2 binds chemokines with a CXC motif, directing immune cells through chemotaxis. Dysregulation of CXCR2 is implicated in inflammatory disorders, autoimmune diseases, and also cancer, contributing to chronic inflammation and tumor progression. The receptor actively participates in angiogenesis, forming new blood vessels during inflammation and wound healing. Growth factors like PDGF, FGF, and neuregulin stimulate CXCR2, highlighting regulatory mechanisms governing cell population.

Researchers actively explore CXCR2 as a therapeutic target for immune-related diseases, aiming to control inflammation and influence immune responses. Understanding CXCR2 and its ligands actively provides insights into immune system regulation, offering potential interventions for immune dysregulation diseases. Ongoing research actively investigates CXCR2 signaling for broader implications in health and disease, enhancing therapeutic potential and immune system comprehension.
