Red Fluorescent Human Colonic Microvascular Endothelial Cells (Red TTFLUOR HCoMEC) provided by Innoprot are isolated from human healthy colonic tissue and transfected with turboFP602. Red TTFLUOR HCoMEC are cryopreserved at secondary culture and delivered frozen. Each vial of Red TTFLUOR HCoMEC contains more than 500.000 viable cells. They are guaranteed to further expand for 10 population doublings following the instructions provided in the technical sheet.

About HCoMEC:

Endothelial cells lining the microvasculature play a critical “gatekeeper” role in the inflammatory process through their ability to recruit circulating immune cells into tissues and foci of inflammation. About turbo602FP protein:

TurboFP602 is a red-shifted variant of the red fluorescent protein TurboRFP from sea anemone Entacmaea quadricolor [Merzlyak et al., 2007]. TurboFP602 possesses true-red fluorescence (with excitation/emission maxima at 574/602 nm, respectively), optimal for detection via most popular filter sets, and is also easily distinguished from background signals. This red frluorescent protein exhibits fast maturation and high pH stability.

TurboFP602 is useful for applications where fast appearance of bright fluorescence is crucial. It is also useful for cell and organelle labeling and tracking the promoter activity.
